THE BEGINNING OF MY STORY
As I was saying earlier in the moment I am experiencing a major change in my life, since about a year ago, I saw that my life was going to nowhere, I had many excesses in these comings and goings of excesses found a sister, and me how a little I have learned about the Rastafarian culture, and I got into the story of the Rastafarian culture, at first it was very hard to change certain things but little by little I was able to overcome.
THE ONSET OF DREAM
At that moment I started learning about the Rastafarian culture, I'm interested to know everything about this, and start reading about this, between read the more I liked this story, read it because was said Rasta, it all started from that Marcus Garvey (Jamaican prophet), said that a black king would liberate the oppressed people of Ethiopia from the oppressive yoke of the Europeans, this caused some stir in Ethiopia, and a few years in 1930 as Marcus had said, Rastafari Makonnen came to power, after took the name Haile Selassie I. This emperor was the one who freed Ethiopia from Italy, according to the Bible, the emperor would be crowned as King of kings and Lord of Lords, was the birthplace of the Rastafarian culture with the belief that Haile Selassie would be the last monarch of the Solomonic dynasty in be on the throne in Ethiopia, it is would consider as the Messiah for all Rastas. In a reading I found that the Rastas Zion was the place where all rastas wanted to go and live forever (the sacred place, like heaven on the Christians), but that Zion was a place that truly is in life, this place ETHIOPIA is the aforementioned.
MY TRIP TO ETHIOPIA
Perhaps the title means they travel, but not so, this is where I most want to travel at this time, not is a place where you know a lot of technology, many beautiful things to see, but it is the place where any rasta want to travel to meet, and if that is so, is because there is a strong spiritual power, where one can truly feel complete. I have traveled to Ethiopia many times, but in moments of meditation with the creator.

ETHIOPIA
Country in the Horn of Africa, the only country that has never been colonized maintaining their independence. It is said that Homo sapiens first appeared here. In my research of places to visit in Ethiopia are:
- Kingdom of Aksum.
- Gondar.
- Awasa.
- Jima.
- Bahir Dar.
- Adama.
- Addis Ababa (capital of Ethiopia).
Kingdom of Aksum
It was an important kingdom of Ethiopia where it is marketed with several countries, takes its name of the kingdom of Aksum as it was located in the province of Aksum, today there are archaeological remains of this kingdom where lie the main kings Ethiopia. Without a doubt must be wonderful to visit this place.
Gondar
The former capital of Ethiopia, is a very small town but is considered one of the most important because it is the palace of Fasilidas, which is classified World Heritage Site. This city has many picturesque ruins, and is known for your Church teaching; the palace of Ras Mikael Sehul. In conclusion, a fascinating place to visit recommended for people who like to visit archaeological sites and spiritual.
Awasa
A city located near the river Awasa, is between Addis Ababa and Nairobi, have few tourist attractions but with a very beautiful infrastructure, such as the Orthodox Church of Awasa, very beautiful monument that would be wonderful to visit.
Jima
One of the cities that may have more technology but not because the Internet or anything like that but because there are that paved roads is not much in Ethiopia, there are also luxury hotels, in this place there a university and there much happiness here.
Bahir Dar
This city has many historic churches and monasteries, one could say that is a small island that is within a country. There is also a university called Bahir Dar where they have four faculties. Near Bahir Dar are the Blue Nile Falls, the best and beautiful in the world.
Adama
Very spiritual city where the majority of the population is Rastafarian, when Haile was emperor the named Nazareth, but it again took its old name in 2000 although many people the still called Nazareth. Although it not has many tourist sites I would like visit him for his Rastafarian beliefs.
Addis Abeba
Ethiopian capital, obviously as the capital is the city with more infrastructure and technology. It has many places to visit such as St George's Cathedral, the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, the place where Emperor Haile Selassie was buried, the imperial palace of Menelik, the Hager Fikir Theatre, the statue of the lion, among others. It is the most advanced city in terms of economy, education, transportation, and politics.
Oromo
It is the largest ethnic group in Ethiopia, is constituted around the world by 26 million members, religious belief is Muslim but also there a few Christians.
Tigray
Is a ethnic group that is between Ethiopia and Eritrea, was the one who gave the name to the kingdom of Aksum, the largest settlement in Eritrea is where 47% of the population belongs to this tribe.
Somali
Is a ethnic group that settled in Ethiopia, Yemen, Kenya, and Djibouti. Among its residents are farmers and ordinary citizens, that is, not necessarily those of this group live far from the city.
MY OTHER GREAT DREAM
As I said before I became interested in the Rastafarian culture, for this reason, another dream trip is to go to Jamaica, where perhaps is the largest settlement of rastas in the world, I would like to travel there because I think in this place could learn a lot more on culture.
JAMAICA
Of Jamaica is little know because the subject interested me most is the of culture and of course reggae. I could say that my journey would know deep Rastafarian culture and if you truly desire continue with this lifestyle. Not speak much about tourist sites, as talk of Ethiopia. I will talk more about their capital Kingston where is the largest settlement in rastas.
Kingston
Capital of Jamaica, in this city you can visit the ruins of Port Royal, you can ride a skyline, near Kingston are the cascades of somerset it is a journey almost mandatory where traveling to Jamaica. Perhaps what I'm most interested to travel to Jamaica and especially to Kingston is can talk with brothers Rastas and more with nyabinghi, which are considered the men Rastas wiser. They do not live within the city because they believe that Babylon (that's what they call the government) wants to manipulate to the human therefore live far from civilization. Here in Colombia, Rastas nyabinghi not exist, no more can be found in Jamaica and in a few places away from the United States. Continuing the theme of the city of Kingston where I would most like to go of this site is the Bob Marley Museum, which was the man who managed to cross borders reggae and that the culture was known worldwide.
Concluding I can say that these two sites are the sites I would most like to visit, to know everything by the Rastafarian roots that exist there.
And with this I ends my travel for Ethiopia and Jamaica the world's best places to visit and learn, for people who want to know about the Rastafarian culture.
